Making Trainings Work

I just came off of my first day at DrupalCon. (yeah!!). It's very exciting. I've already made some great connections with fellow Drupal developers and learned some handy tricks. Being a teacher, I'm constantly thinking of how people learn and improve their skills. Here are some thoughts on how I would structure a training.

A Roadmap for the Aspiring Drupal Developer

"Don't miss the forest for the trees" is a quote I constantly think of as I develop my web development skills. Trying to prioritize what skills to learn and laying out a plan can be daunting. I've struggled myself to find good documentation on this and of course there is usually not a single easy answer. Here are two graphical representations of the Drupal learning curve which I just found today and help me see the big picture (the forest if you will).
